Celebrating the Arts Gala

Dear Alumni and Friends,

I am pleased to announce the 2019 Rhode Island College Gala will be held on Thursday, April 25 at the Twin River Casino Event Center, 100 Twin River Road, Lincoln, RI. The theme of this year’s event is “Celebrating the Arts,” in recognition of our talented students, faculty, staff and alumni in the performing and visual arts. I invite you to join us for what is sure to be a one-of-a-kind experience. Click here to register.

This year’s Gala will prove to be an entertaining and inspiring evening filled with student performances, including five students who recently were awarded the first-ever Miranda Family Scholarship, supported by Lin-Manuel Miranda and his family. Student and alumni artwork will also be displayed prominently and be available for purchase. The event will also feature an exclusive networking session for backstage pass holders, cocktail hour, silent auction and the opportunity to celebrate Rhode Island College.

Rhode Island College hosts more than 8,000 students and boasts 68,000 alumni throughout the United States. Our collective impact is made each and every day here in the Ocean State by the 70 percent of alumni that live, raise families and work here. They are artists, business owners, educators, nurses and social workers. RIC is Rhode Island’s College.

For those interested in sponsorship opportunities, please contact Ed Pacheco, Executive Director of the Rhode Island College Foundation, via email or phone: epacheco@ric.edu, 401-456-9866.
